I cannot even begin to explain how I feel right now, now that I am home from this trip. I still feel like I am going to have a lot of adjusting to do at home, back in the American culture. To see the mother's of these families scream in excitement when they saw the food, appliances or bed in their new house made it all worth it. To hear the testimony of Jesus and how he came about becoming a missionary was beyond words. To be able to serve the previous families dinner at the family reunion, and play with the children while painting their new house. We touched the lives of so many people in the community and I know they indefinably were changed by us as well. I am forever changed by this mission trip and cannot wait to go back for more!
