My daughter has done Mission Trips in US and wanted to go outside US. Going to Juarez to build a home was a great opportunity and she loved it and the people who volunteered as well as the Mexican people. She especially loved visiting the orphanage and didn't want to leave them or Juarez. She was able to use a bit of her Spanish skills too. We were thrilled that our dear friends, the Dumlers joined us.
We enjoyed every aspect of the Mission. We met amazing workers on our team, the Mexican staff and carpenters and the Mexican people. We were well taken care of. And WELL FED! HAHA.
I highly recommend this trip. It is so important for our children to learn to give back. This opens their eyes and hearts to others and helps them realize that not everyone has what they do.
