It is our goal to strengthen the collaboration between Cherry Hills, His Love Fellowship (CHCC sister church in downtown Denver), and our Nicaraguan church partners to meet physical and spiritual needs of the people in El Crucero. After delivering food baskets (see Into the Mist...), we returned to the clinic to find Jonny (from HIs Love) and Israel (from El Crucero) softly playing worship music on Israel’s key board. Our teens huddled together in earnest prayer. Our El Crucero church partners joined us for an impromptu time of worship and prayer (in Spanish and English). As the wind howled outside and night fell, we felt God’s presence and many were called to deeper commitments in their faith. This was just one of the many ways God worked to unite us with our amazing ministry partners.
