Are you a teacher called to serve locally but desiring to make a global impact and contribute to your profession?  If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you:  Mentor and teach Indonesian teachers over a live video link from the comfort of your own home (bunny slippers not included!!)

On a monthly basis we initiate a video conference (Skype-like) link with the teaching staff of an international-style school in Indonesia.  All instruction is provided in English.  The sessions are generally conducted on a Friday evening (early morning in Indonesia).  Although we are currently focusing on English as a Foreign language (with an emphasis on English conversational skills), we also instruct and demonstrate Western teaching tips and tricks.  The sessions last 60 - 90 minutes.  there is generally a 2 - 3 hours worth of prep time in support of each distance learning session.

The video conferencing software is free, quickly downloadable, and very easy to use.  It allows multiple conferees as well as allows sharing of screens, documents, photos, etc.  We have been conducting these sessions for over 18 months.  You can easily join a conference to watch how they are conducted should you desire to view an active example before making a commitment.
