$4,000.00

Join us at an International-style elementary/middle school in Indonesia teaching and mentoring teachers.  This is the third in a series of trips to Sumatra and is also a  followup to monthly Distance Learning video conference sessions which we’ve most recently (at the request of the teaching and administrative staff) focused on English as a Foreign Language (Conversational English). Although the focus of this trip will be on teaching Western Teaching Methodologies to the staff of the Eskwela International School we will also be providing a staff in-service training as well as daily and on-going conversational English dialogue sessions.

In addition we will be participating in conversational English groups/clubs at local universities and secondary schools and in reading programs at local Islamic schools.  We will also partner with local and national missionary outreach NGOs to support, encourage and equip their operations and their training of worker resources.

All instruction at the school is in English.  Teachers (primary and special education), aids and administrators are encouraged to checkout the opportunity.  We work directly with the staff who are all graduate teachers of Indo-Malay universities, with instruction in Western teaching methodologies, and teaching tips and tricks, providing direct teaching examples as well as in-class mentoring.  This outreach is in direct response to international servants who created the school.
